The most important people in the Feelgood Factory are our team of volunteers and many of the services we provide could not happen without their help.
Volunteering for the Feelgood Factory does not have to involve contributing a lot of your time – you can volunteer for as many hours as you are able. Similarly, you do not need to have skills or qualifications – training will be provided where necessary. All that we ask is that you genuinely want to contribute towards our work and that you are prepared to make a commitment to be as reliable as possible.
Volunteers must be aged over 16 and some opportunities require a Criminal Records check. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent involvement. All expenses will be paid.
Examples of volunteering opportunities currently available are:
- Befriender
- Driver
- Escort
- Community Handyman
- Community Shopper
- Community Allotment Worker
- Community Gardening Assistant
- Community Health Peer Mentor
- Breast Start Peer Mentor
