what is feelgood choices?
Meeting with people is important for all of us. Too much time spent alone impacts negatively on our wellbeing and our quality of life.
The Feelgood Factory recognises that people have different interests and tastes. Feelgood Choices is a menu of different activities but all with the aim of being friendly, relaxing and designed as much as possible by those who attend the session.
It can be very easy to lose contact with friends as time goes by and to find yourself in a situation where you spend more and more time on your own.
The Good Afternoon Social (GAS) Group meets each Thursday afternoon in the Feelgood Factory. GAS is an opportunity to meet people in a relaxed environment, to chat and share ideas and, from time to time, to go on visits to places of interest.
Good Afternoon Social - every Thursday at 1.00 p.m.
Are you interested in learning new things in the company of others?
Feelgood Learning is an informal group that looks at a range of topics in a relaxed but mentally stimulating way. Subjects are chosen by group members and we may then use literature, history, art and music or computers to explore them further.
No knowledge is necessary just bring yourself and your interest to keep learning.
The topics for September to December 2014 will be Philanthropy and Philanthropists and Crime and Criminals in the last 200 years (Being Good, Being Bad). See our leaflet or timetable for more details.
Feelgood Learning - Every Wednesday at 1.30 p.m.
If you enjoy making things and using your hands creatively then you will enjoy our new crafting group.
This weekly group will help members to explore different creative interests including
Sewing and Knitting
No skills are necessary and help will be given where necessary.
Feelgood Crafting - every Monday from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.
